TRANSPORTATION:
Toledo is located in the centre of Spain, only 70 km away from Madrid and 80 km from its airport. It is connected to the capital by road and regular and high speed train. The trip between Madrid and Toledo takes 25 minutes by high speed train. You will have a wide timetable with affordable prices.
Regarding urban transportation, Toledo has a public bus service that connects all its neighborhoods, starting from Zocodover Square, located within five minute walking distance from Aula Toledo. It is also possible to rent cars from different car rental companies in the city.

INTERNET:
Broadband internet is widely available in Spain. Our school, as well as most business hotels and restaurants has WIFI internet availability.
CURRENCY:
Euro is the official currency in the European Union.
PASSPORT:
Citizens from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein only need a valid passport or identity card to enter Spain.
Citizens of other countries need to have a valid passport and, depending of their nacionality also a visa.

LUGGAGE:
The streets of Toledo have cobbled paving and many ramps. Because of this, we recommend comfortable shoes to walk through the city.

CLIMATE:
Toledo has a continental Mediterranean climate. Rain is infrequent and mostly concentrated in spring and autumn. Temperatures are cold in winter with minima near 0ºC and summer maxima around 35ºC. However, the average temperature is around 20ºC in spring and autumn.
SHOPPING:
Opening times for shops in Spain is usually from Monday to Saturday from 9,30 to 13,30 and from 16,30 to 20.00 approximately. Shopping malls open continuously from 10.00 to 22.00.
Night life is especially intense from Thursdays to Sundays when bars, clubs, coffees and discos stay open till 3.00 a.m, and some even till 7.00 a.m.
SPANISH LIFE TIMETABLE:
Breakfast is usually served between 8.00 h. and 10.00 h in the mornings. Lunch is served at restaurants from 13.00 h. to 15.30 h., and dinner between 20.30 h. and 23.00 h. Although these are the most common hours, it is possible to find tapas, sandwiches, mixed grills or portions of food at any time of the day.
